Project Report: Radisson Hotel, Bucharest/Romania

Upper picture: The green outdoor area of the hotel contributes to a pleasant stay of the guests.

Curved planting beds with various small plants, shrubs and trees are built along the walkways.  

The heated outdoor swimming pool is located on the underground parking garage of the hotel.  

Europe´s largest outdoor whirlpool is situated in the Radisson Hotel courtyard.

Lawn, shrubs and trees were planted on the parking garage.  

The 160 m high tower rises in the sky.  

An arrangement of very large planter boxes behind the glass facade using ZinCo green roof systems.

Upper picture: The greater part of the new wellness and spa area disappears somewhat into the mountain. The only visible elements are the skylights, which are intended to resemble trees.

The eight light sails – a construction made of steel and glass – each of them up to 13 metres in height.  

The humus layer that had been removed and stored temporarily was used as a vegetation layer and a lawn was sown.  

Installing the thermal insulation layer above the roof waterproofing.

Upper picture: The main gardens are situated on the crucial floors with the transitions to the other towers.

The three Fusionopolis towers are connected by skybridges.
